Sounds terrible

Love the design, sounds absolutely horrible. I had expected hammock-eq, so a lot of bass and treble, but in these headphones there is mostly deep mushy bass. Actually sounds worse than expired Sudio Ten sol cost half as much. Middle range above 2-3kHz does not exist. Or do I have a cold?!
